Crossed Roller Bearing is a special type of rolling bearing whose rollers are arranged crosswise (usually at 90° orthogonal arrangement). It can bear radial load, axial load and overturning moment at the same time and has the characteristics of high rigidity, high precision and compact structure.
1.Cross roller layout
- Rollers are arranged orthogonally and separated by isolating blocks or cages to achieve uniform force.
- The rollers and raceways are in line contact, and the load capacity is significantly higher than that of ball bearings (point contact).
2.Integrated design
- Usually adopts an integrated structure of inner and outer rings (such as thin-walled type), which saves space and is suitable for compact installation.
- Some models have preload to eliminate clearance and improve rotation accuracy.
3.High rigidity & high precision
- Suitable for precision equipment such as industrial robot joints, machine tool turntables, medical equipment, etc.
- Higher rigidity than traditional bearing combinations (such as angular contact ball bearings + thrust bearings).
